Soft extracts

Similarly to fluid extracts, soft extracts are prepared by extraction by maceration and percolation.

The subsequent phase of concentration, which takes place under vacuum and at low temperature,

however, it is more intense than the fluid extracts and a product of consistency is obtained

pasty, similar to honey, which can vary from 20 to 70°bx.

The soft plant extracts faithfully reflect the organoleptic characteristics of the

plant of origin and are easily dispersed in water.

Therefore, they are suitable for use in products in the form of creams, ointments and pills.

They are widely used in food and nutraceutical products.

The soft extracts we process

In the case of standardized soft extracts, the active ingredient titer can be kept constant with the addition of inert materials such as sucrose, starch, and lactose.
